This Month in Modding Contests
Minecraft ModJam 2026: Echoes of the Past just opened, and it's the biggest one yet. $50,000 in prizes, 59 winners, and a theme built around Minecraft's history. Build a mod, datapack, resource pack, or Bedrock add-on targeting Minecraft 26.1+, and you're in. Mid-contest rewards land August 4th and 18th, so you don't have to wait until the end to see a prize. Submissions close September 1st.

The WoW Addon Trials wrapped, and the results are in. 20 winners split $8,100, with EllesmereUI taking first for a modular UI overhaul built around performance and simplicity, Danders Frames in second for its raid and party frame customization, and Coolinator by Plusmouse in third for drag-and-drop ability and aura layouts. Congratulations to everyone who entered!

Introducing CurseForge Legends
We launched something new this month: CurseForge Legends, a milestone program built to celebrate every ounce of hard work behind authors’ downloads and turn them into achievements they actually earned. Every download an author ever got on a project they own counts toward their tier, and everyone is automatically enrolled. No signup, no application.
Tiers unlock profile badges, digital certificates, CurseForge Premium, and merch, with personalized physical trophies waiting at the top!

For Authors: New Dashboard, Now in Beta
A new Author Dashboard just landed in beta for the authors console, and it's the clearest view into your projects CurseForge has ever given you. It splits unique downloads from total downloads for the first time, gives you side-by-side comparisons (yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, all-time), and breaks down performance per file and, for Minecraft Java, per modloader.
The legacy dashboard isn't going anywhere yet. You can toggle between the two while the beta settles in, and historical data is reliable from mid-May 2026 onward. We're actively collecting feedback in Discord before locking it in, so let us know if something's missing.
