The latest patch for World of Warcraft: Curse of Ula'Tek, went live August 11th/12th with new content, a new zone: The Coiled Isle, and soon a new Raid and M+ Season.

The Coiled Isle
The newest zone in 12.1 Curse of Ula'Tek is the Coiled Isle. Those who have explored Zul'Aman have already attempted to go to the isle - but have been rudely kicked off by some kind of magic.
The Coiled Isle is another troll-themed zone after Zul'Aman earlier this year, with the release of World of Warcraft: Midnight, the 11th and latest expansion. The Coiled Isle leads us directly to the Vaults of Atal'Utek and The Venomous Abyss, the new 8-boss raid of the patch.
On this isle, you will find the Venomous Abyss raid and Altar of Fangs dungeon, as well as the Vault of Atal'Utek, which comes with a brand new talent tree to unlock more and more powers along the way.
With new Delves (Gnarldor Isle and Venomfall Deeps) and new Prey bosses, the zone is bringing a heap of new content to explore and enjoy.
Quality of Life and UI Improvements
QoL improvements are notoriously for being very small but very useful, and in this patch, they are no different. Here are some of the best changes:
- Less crafting materials for Housing Decor
- Account-wide Auto-Loot settings (finally, after many years)
- Loss of Control frame for Edit Mode
Venomous Abyss and Altar of Fangs
Curse of Ula'Tek shipped with a brand new dungeon, The Altar of Fangs. This three-boss dungeon used to be sealed by the Fang of Ula'Tek to lock away the vaults. Now that the seal is broken, there are no just bosses to kill, but 'noice lewt' to obtain as well!
Along with the new dungeon, the Venomous Abyss raid will unlock a week later when Season 2 goes live on August 18th for the US and August 19th for the EU. In this raid, you will have to work your way towards the five-headed Ula'Tek herself.
Mythic Plus Season 2
Of course, with a new content patch, we get a new Mythic Plus season and a new rotation of dungeons. Besides the new Altar of Fangs dungeon, we get the other set of four from World of Warcraft: Midnight. And of course some old timers.

Discord and Battle.net Link
One of the hyped features is, of course, the link between Discord and Battle.net, and the ability to link guild chat to a Discord channel. For those who remember the Mobile App, a long, long time ago, that allowed you to talk through your phone in guild chat. This is that, but better!
