Updates from inZOI
Authors Town Hall
inZOI’s official modding launch is already inspiring a wave of creativity. Last month’s Town Hall gave authors a look behind the scenes with topics such as modding tools, community feedback, and the ongoing contest. The recording is now available on our Authors Discord server if you couldn't join live.
The Next Top Modder
Meanwhile, The Next Top Modder contest is in full swing. We’ve already celebrated two rounds of winners in the Most Mods Submitted category, each earning $150 for their contributions. Congrats to Merit Selket, MoxxyHaven, Patrick Jr., apaloosa10, DreamDoll, and Enai who won so far!
There’s still plenty to compete for, including:
- 5× Best Dress Sets – $600 each
- 5× Best Furniture Mods – $600 each
- 5× Community Favorites – $800 each
Submissions close July 31st, so get your entries in and encourage your community to vote!

Big App Features
Managing your mods and getting the most out of your profiles is becoming much easier. Recent updates to the CurseForge app have introduced two highly requested features:
Groups
- Organize your mods and modpacks by creating custom groups in your library
- Now also supports turning entire groups on and off at once
- More improvements to groups are coming next!
Custom Launch Arguments
- You can now set launch arguments for each of your profiles
- Fine‑tune performance without affecting your global settings
These updates are part of our ongoing work to make the app more powerful and flexible for creators and players alike. If you have suggestions or want to support ideas by other players, visit our Ideas Portal.

Tools and Tips for Authors
We’re always looking for ways to make creating and managing projects easier, while giving authors the support and recognition they deserve. Recent updates to the Authors Console and new community initiatives are designed to help you work more smoothly and feel more connected than ever.
Authors Console Updates
Our new Notification Center is live, giving you quick updates on file changes, project activity, new comments, and direct messages - right where you work. Additionally, Smart Tips now appear during project creation and file uploads, offering real‑time guidance based on the game you’re publishing for.
Check out these new improvements in your Authors Console and let us know what you think!
Recognition and Community
Beyond the console, we’ve also taken steps to bring authors closer to the broader community. The Mod Author role is now live on the CurseForge Discord, allowing authors to stand out, connect directly with players, get feedback, and even share their active or in-progress projects in a dedicated channel.
And there’s more to come. We’re also working on CF Legends, an upcoming loyalty program designed to celebrate and reward the creators shaping the modding scene. We’ll have more to share soon, but for now, thank you for everything you’ve built and for being part of the community.
