App Release Notes - 1.317

Hello CurseForgers! We're back with another update packed with fresh improvements and important bug fixes. Let's dive in!

Don't yet use the app? What are you waiting for!? GET THE CURSEFORGE APP HERE!

Improved

  • You can now filter and sort a modpack's Content tab before you install it, so you can see what's inside without committing to a download.
  • Improved scroll position handling, so returning to a user profile or a modpack's Content tab puts you back where you left off.
  • You can now see exactly how far along a download is, with an "X of Y MB" readout in the download manager.
  • Improved the Install button so it tells you why it's unavailable when there's no compatible file for your setup, instead of just being greyed out.
  • Improved duplicating a modpack: the dialog no longer blocks you while it runs, and progress now shows on the modpack tile.
  • Improved multi-select so checkboxes behave the same way in grid and list views, and are easier to see against light thumbnails in list view.

Bug Fixes

  • Minecraft - Fixed an issue where the Java version set on a profile was ignored when launching through the Mojang launcher.
  • Windows - Fixed an issue where deleted files could silently remain on disk when they couldn't be moved to the Recycle Bin.
  • Fixed an issue where deleting a modpack could fail with files reported as in use when nothing was using them.
  • Fixed an issue where a running game session was not properly indicated when the app was relaunched.
  • Fixed an issue where a failed page of results on a user profile stayed empty instead of retrying.

As always, if you have an idea to improve CurseForge, we'd love to hear it! Share your feedback on our Ideas Portal, or chat with us on Discord.
