Class Changes and New Content Coming in Midnight 12.0.5

After an amazing Race to World First win by Liquid, the new World of Warcraft: Midnight content patch 12.0.5 releases upcoming Tuesday April 21st (US) / Wednesday April 22nd (EU). From class changes, to housing updates and even some new (old) events!

Class Changes and Class Balance

With every patch, class changes and balance is a major topic. However, 12.0.5 might be bringing more then we have seen recently. Of course some classes really need a bit more love then they are getting, still, most of these changes are a step in the right direction. Dracthyr Evokers finally get an update that makes them able to stay in their Visage form, instead of being forced into dragon form. Demon Hunters get new eye customizations. And we see reworks to Hunter's Pack Leader and nerfs to some specs that were majorly over performing. For a list of all changes, please visit the Official WoW Forums.

Housing Updates

Housing is getting a big amount of new Decor items. WoWHead reported over 300 new items being added.

From garden swings to obelisks, ponds to floating desks, roofs, and trellis. People who main housing as their content have shown some of the most amazing creations and all these extra items will certainly provide them with even more options!

The cutest thing to add is a dog house with multiple customizable options. 😍

Void Assaults Coming Back

Void Strikes and the bigger (multiplayer) Void Incursions are events in Eversong Woods and Zul'Aman that will rotate on a weekly basis. During these events, you will push back Xal'Ataths forces, to hopefully buy enough time until more of the story unfolds.

Void Assaults will reward Field Accolades which can be used to buy Champion and Hero gear, serving as a chatch up mechnic for alts.

Ritual Sites Challenges

The Naga are back, and again, they are reaching for power they should not have. These creatures that were Night Elves once need to be driven back in short one to five-player instances. Higher versions of these challenges will give better rewards and even count for your World row in the Great Vault.

Ritual Sites will reward Field Accolades which can be used to buy Champion and Hero gear, serving as a chatch up mechnic for alts.

Building a Void Forge

Assisting Domanaar Decimus you will take part in building a Void Forge. A device that can transmute Nebulous Voidcores into powerful equipment. These Nebulous Voidcores are generally from Nightmare Prey, Bountiful Delves, Mythic Plus Dungeons and Raids. Weapons and trinkets can also be upgraded to new heights with this feature, providing an extra power spike for those trying to clear the raid or push their score.

Hold Your Breath for Abyss Anglers

For those who loved the Cataclysm zone: Vashj'Ir, there will be some more underwater content coming in World of Warcraft: Midnight, patch 12.0.5 with the new Abyss Anglers activity. This repeatable event pushes you into the water of the coast of Zul'Aman to spear fish for exotic fishies.
Congratulations, you unlocked the achievement: Instant Sushi Cravings!

Depthdiver Jeju will help you get started with this watery event. The more you fish, the more rewards. The more rewards you earn, the more upgrades you get for your diving gear. This becomes a positive feedback loop that makes you better every time you participate.
