
Hello CurseForgers! This month’s platform update brings key upgrades to the CurseForge website and a ton of improvements to the Author Console. From smoother workflows to better tools and a smarter notification system, we’re making creating and managing projects easier than ever.

Website
- New profile picture & username system on the CurseForge website:
- Added the ability to change username and profile picture directly from the profile’s “Settings” page, without needing to go through Twitch.
- Added the ability to remove the profile image entirely.
- Added the ability to crop a profile picture on upload.
- Added support for underscores “_” for Usernames.
- Various security improvements across the CurseForge website.
Author Console
- New notification system progression:
- Added links in notifications that lead to the source.
- Added the option to delete notifications.
- Added a notification for new file uploaded on followed projects.
- Various bug fixes for the new system.
- New option to "mark as read" a specific notification.
- New distinction between "unread" and "unseen" notifications. The ping on the notification bell icon is now tied to "unseen".
- Improved search optimization of the "Add Member" option in the "Projects" page.
- Improved the game filter in "Projects" page.
- Improved styling for project edit.
- Improved the auto-complete for the “Add Member” dialogue.
- Improved the information banners to be visible only on the latest file in the "Files" tab.
- Improved the "Additional File Info" field to now have a default value, based on project class.
- Fixed an issue where "Additional File Info" field did not save on creation.
- Fixed an issue where relations were not added on a new upload.
- Fixed an issue where “Default Relations” were not displayed when uploading additional files.
- Various UI fixed for notifications and information banners.
