Are you ready to leave your mark on World of Warcraft: Midnight?
The CurseForge Addon Trials Contest is now underway! The contest is challenging veteran or aspiring Addon authors to create an innovative, fun or maybe soon to be famous Addon for the current Midnight expansion. With a total prize pool of $8,100 USD, this is an opportunity for both experienced developers and newcomers to showcase their creativity and contribute to the future of the World of Warcraft ecosystem.
Prize Pool
Participants can compete for the following rewards:
- 🥇 1st Place: $2,500
- 🥈 2nd Place: $1,500
- 🥉 3rd Place: $1,000
- 🏅 4th–10th Place: $300 each
In addition to the final prizes, CurseForge will also award several mid-contest bonus prizes, giving authors even more chances to win.
What Can You Build?
Whether you're creating Raid or Mythic+ tools, UI enhancements, Collection trackers, or just some easy Quality-of-life improvements, everything has a chance to win. One Category, Infinite Utility.
Multiple Entries Welcome
Authors are allowed to submit multiple projects, provided each application complies with the contest rules and platform requirements. Original creations designed for Midnight are encouraged, making this a great time to experiment with new ideas and prepare your addon portfolio. Have you already started a project recently? All Addons that go back as far as the Midnight Beta are welcome!
Where and When to Apply?
On the official CurseForge WoW Addon Contest website, you can click the 'Join the Contest' button, and it will guide you through the process. If any questions arise, you can ask in the CurseForge Discord.
Applications are open as of June 9th, 2026, and will stay open all the way until July 5th, 2026. So make sure you fulfill your application before the end date (preferably a bit earlier, of course).
