App Release Notes - 1.318

Hello CurseForgers! We're back with another update packed with fresh improvements and important bug fixes. Let's dive in!

Don't yet use the app? What are you waiting for!? GET THE CURSEFORGE APP HERE!

Improved

  • Comments now show the standard placeholder avatar for deleted users instead of a blank gap.
  • Comments and project pages now show a Legends tier badge next to eligible authors' names.
  • The comment reply toggle now clearly says "Show" or "Hide" instead of always showing a reply count.
  • You can now Ungroup a group (sends its mods back to your library) or fully Delete a group and its mods, as two separate actions.
  • Bulk installing or updating multiple mods now shows the whole batch in the Download Manager right away, instead of trickling in one by one.
  • Clicking a Download Manager item now opens its project page, just like the rest of your library.
  • Improved changelog formatting (headings, lists, code blocks) in the app to match the redesigned website changelog.

Bug Fixes

  • Overwolf - Fixed an issue where "Add game manually" from the games side menu always failed.
  • Fixed an issue where the desktop app could crash in the background if it was opened a second time (double-click, tray Open, or a deeplink) while it was still starting up.
  • Fixed an issue where Spotlight Search could open on top of the first-time setup screens.
  • Fixed several buttons that screen readers announced as "Unlabeled button," including Update All.

As always, if you have an idea to improve CurseForge, we'd love to hear it! Share your feedback on our Ideas Portal, or chat with us on Discord.
