What is Cracker’s Wither Storm Mod?
Cracker’s Wither Storm Mod adds the Wither Storm boss from Minecraft: Story Mode to Minecraft. While it is based on Story Mode, it is not a complete copy and you do not need to have played Minecraft: Story Mode to play the mod. You can play it with friends but because of how destructive the Wither Storm is you should not use it on a world you care about (a new world is recommended).
How do I download Cracker's Wither Storm Mod?
Open the CurseForge App and select Minecraft. Once there you have two easy options:
- Search & Install: Use the search bar and type “Wither Storm”. In the search results you’ll see “Cracker’s Wither Storm Mod”. Click it and either create a new profile, just for Wither Storm or select an existing Forge or NeoForge profile to add it to.
- Use My Modpacks: Go to My Modpacks, pick the profile you want, click the ⋮ (three dots) next to Play, then choose Add Content. Search for Wither Storm, select Cracker's Wither Storm Mod and hit Install.
If you prefer manual installation, go to Cracker's Wither Storm Mod project page on CurseForge, pick the file that matches your Minecraft version and loader (Forge/NeoForge) and download the .jar. How do you make the Wither Storm in Cracker's Wither Storm Mod?
- Find the Rundown House at X=0, Z=0.
- On its roof is an incomplete Wither Storm frame, with a command block in the center.
- Pick up the final Wither Skeleton Skull from the floor and place it on the incomplete frame to start the event. The Wither Storm will spawn and evolve from there. Make sure you are ready to run!
You can also summon it by building the structure manually (a normal wither structure with a command-block at the center).
There is also an Auto-Spawn config option that spawns it after a delay instead of a player spawning it at the Rundown house.
