CurseForge App Release Notes - 1.275

Hello CurseForgers! We're excited to bring you a new update with several new features and important bug fixes. Let's dive in!

Don't yet use the app? What are you waiting for!? GET THE CURSEFORGE APP HERE!

Improved

  • Introducing RAM recommendation - Modpack authors can now set a recommended amount of RAM when exporting their packs. When importing or installing these tagged packs, the amount of RAM will automatically be set to the recommended value. This feature can be toggled in the Minecraft settings page, and you can still override the allocated RAM from profile options.
  • New feature in the Changelog tab - you can now easily switch between viewing the changelog for the version you currently have installed, and latest version released.
  • New filtering checkbox now allows you to hide installed content while browsing. Please note that this feature requires logging in to CurseForge. This feature will be released gradually. Thank you for your patience.
  • Minecraft - The option to export .connector and .essentials folders is now disabled.
  • Minecraft - New text size and text wrap options in the Logs section.
  • The Sims 4 - Translations type mods are now supported in the app.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where some pages in the app displayed a "No Connection" error after the system woke up from sleep mode.
  • Fixed an issue where navigating quickly between pages in the app's settings resulted in an error page.
  • Minecraft - Fixed an issue where changing a profile's picture caused changes made to modloader type and version to get reverted.
  • Stardew Valley - Fixed an issue where profiles could be saved despite having an empty name set.
  • World of Warcraft - Fixed an issue where installing an addon from the "Discover" page allowed the selection of incompatible game flavors.

As always, if you have an idea to improve CurseForge, we'd love to hear it! Share your feedback on our Ideas Portal, or chat with us on Discord.
