Minecraft ModJam 2025
Our biggest Minecraft contest ever is underway, and it’s already breaking records.
The CurseForge Minecraft ModJam 2025 invites authors to build projects around one theme: The Future. Sci-fi datapacks, neon-drenched resource packs, and powered Bedrock Addons, we’re already seeing some incredible entries.
Massive $50,000 Prize Pool
- 20 Java Mods – $1,000 each
- 5 Datapacks – $1,000 each
- 5 Resource Packs – $1,000 each
- 10 Bedrock Addons – $1,000 each
- 4 Community Favorites – $2,000 each
- 10 Bi-weekly Raffle Winners – $200 each

Fresh Platform Features
We’ve been hard at work rolling out new features to make CurseForge better across every device and game. Here are a few highlights from the past month:
Mobile Experience Improvements
You can now download, favorite, and follow projects directly from your phone! We also introduced new profile controls like username changes and avatar cropping, plus a refreshed side menu to streamline navigation.
Project Page Overhaul
The new project page layout is rolling out, with better visuals, a cleaner side panel, and an improved download flow. We’ve introduced a new hover profile modal, made following and favoriting more intuitive than ever, and brought back the "Read More" button with better implementation following community feedback.
Minecraft App Upgrades
Minecraft players will now see the total time played for each modpack or profile. Plus, a new indicator now shows which packs are actively running in the launcher.
World of Warcraft Carousel
For WoW players, a brand-new featured carousel is now live. It highlights quality-of-life tools and underrated gems, updating every two weeks to keep things fresh. Check it out here!
inZOI Upload Flow Update
Authors for inZOI now have more control over the publishing process. Mods now go through a "Ready for Review" stage, giving authors the ability to manually send their creations to moderation once they’re fully ready - while ensuring secure, stable experiences for everyone.
