How to Create & Import Custom Coat of Arms into Manor Lords

Want to start as a creator on CurseForge but don’t know how?
Worry not! Now you too can create your very own mod for the new and successful Manor Lords! Follow the guide below and in no time, your shining custom coat of arms will be available for all users on CurseForge.

Step 1. Downloading the Template

  • The first step is to go to the Manor Lords Press Kit and download the template_custom_coat.png file.
  • You can name this file whatever you wish, but please ensure it is in PNG format.

Step 2. Edit The Template

  • Now it’s the fun part! Open your saved template file in your image editor of choice. Examples of this are Photoshop, Paint.net, Gimp, or even good old Paint!
  • Make the changes you wish to see, whether that’s adding your family crest, a chicken, rainbow colors, or whatever else you think looks good!
  • Once done, save/export the file, and please ensure this is in PNG format.

Step 3: Load it In-Game

  • You can now load the Coat of Arms in-game by visiting the New Game page, and clicking the folder icon titled “Load a Custom Texture”.
  • Then, select the file you exported and modified previously, which will then load your custom texture into the game!

  • Sign up as an author on CurseForge: https://authors.curseforge.com/welcome
  • Publish your Coat of Arms: https://authors.curseforge.com/#/projects/create/choose-game
  • You can select/search “Manor Lords”, and then the category “Coat of Arms” to help others find your work more easily!
  • After creating your project page, go to the “Files” tab and upload your Coat of Arms file.
  • You can also create your Coat of Arms inside Manor Lords, save it, and then upload and share it to CurseForge!
